Established in 1887, German based Borbet wheels is a major supplier of custom wheels. In 1962 Peter Borbet, began production in a newly built works in Hesborn, Germany, manufacturing die cast parts for many different industries.
By 1977, Borbet began making light alloy wheels for cars and trucks.
Today the company is specializing in the development and manufacture of custom wheels from design to production. Its clients include General Motors and Opel, as well as BMW, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. In addition to producing custom wheels, the company is also an original equipment supplier to the auto industry.
