During the 1990s Prime Wheel expanded its facilities. Prime found the auto industry turning towards great looking original equipment wheels. In 1994, Prime accepted a contract from Mitsubishi Motors to build wheels for its Montero line.
In 2000, Prime began its second stage expansion to become a major supplier for the Daimler Chrysler Corporation, Ford Motors, General Motors, and Mitsubishi Motor America with their wide line of original equipment wheels.

With manufacturing facilities in Carson and Harbor City, California and Mexicali, Mexico, Prime Wheel produces 2.5 million wheels annually, of which 600,000 are chrome plated.
