One other cause of vibration and excessive tire wear is improper bead seating or improper tire mounting on the rim. An easy fix if you can see the problem.
Sometimes new
tires and new rims are just not round. This problem is called run-out. It can be fixed in some cases by rotating the tire on the rim 180 degrees. However if the tire or rim has excessive run-out replacement is the only answer.
Always have your wheel and tire packages mounted by a reputable tire shop that has well trained professional services mechanics. Their equipment used to mount and balance tires must be accurate and well maintained. A clean tire shop in most cases is a professional shop. Make sure your choice in tire shops cleans the rim and tire of all foreign materials. Have them place weights on the inside of your custom wheel if possible. Some weights are coated to prevent damage to the wheel finish.
