American Racing Shelby Cobra Custom Wheels

Shelby MustangIn the mid 1960s Ford wanted a higher performance Mustang that could compete with the Chevy Corvette. The job was turned over to the Shelby-American, who built street versions of the Mustang GT that Carroll Shelby named the GT-350. With racing victories as a major goal Shelby then turned to American Racing for light weight aluminum alloy wheels.

American Racing Shelby Cobra series 427 RWD comes in sizes 15x4, 15x6, 15x7, 15x8, 15x10,15x12, 15x14, 17x7, 17x8, 17x9.5, 17x11, 18x8, 18x8 and 18x10 2 piece painted centers with a polished rim. The American Racing Shelby Cobra polished series 427P 2 piece polished center with a polished rim come in the same sizes. The American Racing Shelby series 198S FWD/RWD come in sizes 17x9, 18x9 and 20x9. Finish is a Gun Metal center Machined Rim that is clear coated with Shelby logo on spoke.
